Mindsets
There are two major types of mindset, Fixed Mindset and Growth Mindset.
The person with the Fixed type of mindset is focusing on avoiding obstacles, this person doesn't believe in efforts, ignores useful feedback, and is threatened by other people success.
The person with the Growth type of mindset behave opposite, acting persistently, trying to embrace the mastery, takes lessons from failures, is inspired by other's success. (Hunter, 16 June 2014).
Each of us probably has some elements of both the Fixed Mindset and the Growth Mindset. The proportion of these two patterns of thinking may vary very widely. However, there are some people among us who seem to have an absolutely pure Growth mindset, with no Fixed thinking patterns at all. A great, astonishing example of these kind of people who have the pure, outstanding Growth mindset, is Nick Vujicic.
Nick's nickname in the Web is "no arms, no legs, no worries." He was born with tetra-amelia syndrome, which means he had no limbs. He struggled mentally and physically, but later he found the way to deal with his condition. His experience lead him to establishing his own non-profit organization, Life Without Limbs. He became a motivational speaker and at the present time he is well known world-wide. However, he doesn't share complaints as one might think. He shares his experience of developing the Growth Mindset and an optimistic thinking. The person, who has no limbs, teaches people with all four limbs, and, consequently, so more opportunities, how to enjoy the life, how not to give up, and how how to be happy.

How To Foster The Growth Mindset
It is possible to develop Growth mindset.
According to Dr. Hunter, one who decides to change his or her thinking style, needs to: "Recognize that mistakes and setbacks are natural; believe the research: our brains actually change as we work to improve ourselves; learn and teach others how to develop abilities; when you hear your fixed mindset talking - talk back". (Hunter, 16 June 2014.)
What Nick thinks about it?
“If I fail, I try again, and again, and again. If YOU fail, are you going to try again? The human spirit can handle much worse than we realize. It matters HOW you are going to FINISH. Are you going to finish strong?”
“If you can't get a miracle, become one.”
“Don't put your life on hold so that you can dwell on the unfairness of past hurts.”
“I never met a bitter person who was thankful. Or a thankful person who was bitter.”
“Have you ever felt trapped in circumstances, then discovered that the only trap was your own lack of vision, lack of courage, or failure to see that you had better options?”

Isn't Nick's life a great evidence that these rules work? In the following video we can see stunning results of practical application of these concepts in Nick's life and his Growth Mindset in action. Nick, who lacks all limbs, is able to perform virtually all types of casual activities without any support.
